1:1 Personal Training FAQ:

  • In every session, we'll kick off with a catch-up, discussing any updates since our last meeting. This leads into a dynamic warm-up for 7-10 minutes, prepping you for the core of the session: 30-45 minutes of strength training. Occasionally, we'll spice things up with a metabolic circuit lasting 3-7 minutes. But our time isn't just about the exercises – we'll strategize on how you can progress towards your goals outside of our sessions. Typically, sessions run for 60-75 minutes, ensuring a comprehensive, holistic approach to your well-being. In addition, we will discuss stress management, nutrition, self-care, and so much more.

  • Pricing is structured to provide you with the best value and results. I offer tiered packages spanning 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month contracts. As you commit to a longer duration, you benefit from greater session discounts, ensuring both savings and progress. The frequency of sessions each week varies based on our mutual availability. Experience has shown that a commitment of 2 months or more often translates to heightened accountability and motivation.   • Personally, I feel I put the “personal” in “personal training”. I recognize that we all live busy lifestyles and that each person I work with is not the same. That means I take the time to truly listen to you and get to know you because you are your own person! Not only are so many of us busy, but we also travel, celebrate the holidays similarly and differently, have families, personal hobbies and interests, and so much more. Each of us experiences a variety of stressors differently than one another. Therefore, a completely custom fitness + wellness coaching program is absolutely necessary. Should I have notice in advance of your traveling, I will create supplementary plans to suit you whether that means exercising indoors, at a park, or hotel/local gym. We will also work together to create a system that works best for you while ensuring you have the tools to navigate the areas you struggle with confidently. For those who are in-person and are traveling, I am more than happy to set up video training sessions and work with you while you are away. At the end of the day, just know that I’ve got your back!

That said, I value keeping things fresh for both motivation and skill development. While we don't need to change workouts constantly so that we may focus on progress per each exercise, I usually cycle through two to three workout routines over four to five weeks. This balance ensures variety, effective progression, and the results you desire!

    -> Fitness Foundation: Eastern Kentucky University BS in Exercise Science, complemented by interning as a physical therapist technician for over 5 years where I spent my time creating a focus on back injuries.

    -> Biomechanics Expertise: At the University of Kentucky, I mastered human movement for optimal performance and injury prevention in runners.

    -> Certifications: Earned the Precision Nutrition, American College of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer, and the Personal Trainer Development Center Online Personal Training Certification, thus, blending science with practical insights.

    -> For Athletes: I'm working towards the NSCA Certified Sports Conditioning Specialist CSCS, aiming to elevate athletic performance.
